Navigate to the Template object and click New. Select the record type as SMS, then click Next and enter the details for your template.
Select the object for the template. Additionally, you can select a merge field for that object from the ‘Select merge field’ option, which can be used in the template content.
Enter the content for your SMS. Once the template content is complete, you can save it and also preview the template. After clicking Save, a version will be generated and the template will be stored.
When previewing the template, you can view the merged template content. Select the user and click ‘Show Preview’.
