Generate Document using Component

Navigate to the record for which you want to generate the document and select the required template from the dropdown.

You can preview the template with the merged values as well as the table values by clicking on the Preview button. It will populate the values associated with the record you are currently working on.

To generate the document, click the Generate button and a toast message will appear once your document is generated.

Your document will be saved in the Notes and Attachments section of the page, where you can view the generated PDF.

A document record will be created related to this record as well as template.

Whenever the same template is generated using the same record, the previously created document record will be updated with the content and a new ContentVersion will be created at the same time.
