These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Addonblue website, the free Org Health Check, our consulting and professional services, and our Salesforce AppExchange Solutions. They form a binding agreement between Addonblue Inc. (“Addonblue”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and you (“you”, “your”, or “Customer”).
By using the Website, running an Org Health Check, engaging our Services, or purchasing, downloading, installing or using a Solution, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services or the Solutions.
Please read Section 15 carefully. It requires disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration and includes a class action and jury trial waiver.

3. Which Terms Apply
3.1 Website and Org Health Check. Sections 4 and 5, together with the general sections of these Terms (Sections 1–3 and 10–18), apply to all use of the Website and the Org Health Check.
3.2 Consulting and professional services. Services are governed by the applicable Services Agreement. These Terms apply to the Services only to the extent a matter is not covered by the Services Agreement. If there is any conflict between a signed Services Agreement and these Terms, the Services Agreement controls.
3.3 AppExchange Solutions. Sections 6 through 9 apply to the Solutions, together with the general sections of these Terms. Any product-specific terms shown on a Solution’s AppExchange listing or documentation also apply to that Solution, and control over these Terms on any conflict for that Solution.
3.4 Salesforce terms. Your use of the Salesforce Platform is governed by your agreements with Salesforce. Salesforce is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Solutions, the Org Health Check or the Services.
4. Website Use and Acceptable Use
4.1 Use of the Website. You may use the Website to learn about Addonblue, contact us, book calls and use the Org Health Check, in line with these Terms.
4.2 Acceptable use. When using the Website or the Org Health Check, you agree not to:
- Break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Submit false, misleading or someone else’s information, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Upload or send viruses, malware or other harmful code.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Website, or bypass any security, authentication or rate-limiting measure (including reCAPTCHA).
- Interfere with or disrupt the Website, its servers or networks, or place an unreasonable load on them.
- Scrape, crawl or harvest content or data from the Website using automated means, except standard search engine indexing.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Website or the Org Health Check, except as allowed by law.
- Use the Website or the Org Health Check to build a competing product or service.
- Connect a Salesforce org you are not authorized to connect.
4.3 Website content. The Website and its content (including text, graphics, logos and code) are owned by Addonblue or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Website content is provided for general information only and may change without notice.
4.4 Third-party links and services. The Website links to, or uses, third-party services such as Salesforce, Cal.com and Google reCAPTCHA. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
4.5 Suspension. We may restrict or block access to the Website or the Org Health Check if we reasonably believe you are breaching this Section.
5. Free Org Health Check
5.1 Authorization. By connecting a Salesforce org, you represent that you are authorized by the org’s owner to connect it and to allow the read-only access described below.
5.2 How it works. You sign in on Salesforce’s own login page; we never see your Salesforce password. Salesforce gives us a short-lived access token, which we use only to read settings, metadata and counts. We do not read record data. The token is revoked as soon as the scan ends. The details you enter in your request are sent to our Salesforce account as a lead. The Report is shown in your browser and can be downloaded as a PDF; we do not email it, and the Website does not keep the token or the Report. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
5.3 Informational only. The Report is generated automatically and is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, security or compliance advice, may not identify every issue in your org, and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing its findings and deciding what, if anything, to do. THE ORG HEALTH CHECK AND THE REPORT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. ADDONBLUE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE OR ACTIONS YOU TAKE BASED ON THE REPORT.
5.4 Free; changes. The Org Health Check is free. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue it at any time, with or without notice.
6. Solutions: License Grant and Restrictions
6.1 License grant. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, Addonblue grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Solutions solely for your internal business purposes, for the term of your subscription (if any), and in accordance with Salesforce’s terms and conditions.
6.2 Restrictions. You may not, and may not allow others to:
- Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Solutions, except to the extent applicable law expressly allows despite this restriction.
- Sell, lease, sublicense or distribute the Solutions without Addonblue’s prior written consent.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Solutions.
- Use the Solutions to build a competing product.
- Use the Solutions in violation of applicable laws, regulations or policies, including Salesforce’s policies.
6.3 Salesforce Platform. The Solutions run on the Salesforce Platform. You must have a valid Salesforce account and the Salesforce licenses needed to use the Solutions. We are not responsible for the availability, performance or changes of the Salesforce Platform.
7. Solutions: Pricing, Payment and Refunds
7.1 Pricing. Prices for the Solutions are shown on the relevant AppExchange listing page and may change at Addonblue’s discretion. We will communicate any pricing changes in advance.
7.2 Payment. Payments must be made through the payment methods specified on the AppExchange or in your order. You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes and charges related to your purchase and use of the Solutions.
7.3 Refunds. All sales are final. Refunds are not provided unless required by applicable law or stated in the specific terms of the Solution.
8. Solutions: Support and Maintenance
8.1 Support. Addonblue offers support for its Solutions. Support may be included with a Solution or available through a separate subscription. Support terms and service levels are described on each product’s support or documentation page.
8.2 Maintenance. We may release updates, bug fixes or new versions of the Solutions. We encourage you to install updates to keep the Solutions compatible with Salesforce and performing well. We are not responsible for issues caused by running outdated versions.
9. Solutions: Termination
9.1 By you. You may stop using a Solution at any time by uninstalling it from your Salesforce org. Uninstalling does not by itself entitle you to a refund (see Section 7.3).
9.2 By Addonblue. We may suspend or terminate your access to a Solution if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or engage in illegal or unethical conduct. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
9.3 Effect of termination. When your access ends, your license ends and you must stop using the Solution. Obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations, survive.
10. Data Privacy and Security
10.1 Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including information collected through the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services and the Solutions.
10.2 Customer Data. For Customer Data, you (or your organization) are the controller and Addonblue acts as a processor or service provider, processing Customer Data only to provide the Solutions or Services and on your instructions. For business customers who need one, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request. If you have signed a DPA or Services Agreement with us, it governs our processing of Customer Data.
10.3 Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the Customer Data you process using the Solutions or provide to us, including having a lawful basis to process it, giving any required notices and obtaining any required consents, and complying with applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and other state and regional laws).
10.4 Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we handle. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Intellectual Property and Feedback
11.1 Ownership. The Website, the Org Health Check, the Reports’ format and methodology, and the Solutions, including all copyrights, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property rights in them, remain the exclusive property of Addonblue or its licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms. Ownership of deliverables created during the Services is governed by the Services Agreement.
11.2 Your data. As between you and Addonblue, you own your Customer Data.
11.3 Feedback. If you give us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services or the Solutions, you grant Addonblue a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback into our products and services without compensation or obligation to you.
12. Warranties and Disclaimers
12.1 Your warranties. You represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms and that your use of the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services and the Solutions will comply with applicable law.
12.2 Disclaimer. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN A SIGNED SERVICES AGREEMENT OR PRODUCT-SPECIFIC TERMS, THE WEBSITE, THE ORG HEALTH CHECK, THE REPORTS AND THE SOLUTIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ADDONBLUE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THEY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 NO INDIRECT DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADDONBLUE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE WEBSITE, THE ORG HEALTH CHECK, THE REPORTS, THE SERVICES OR THE SOLUTIONS, OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY OF THEM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
13.2 CAP ON DIRECT DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADDONBLUE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO ADDONBLUE FOR THE SPECIFIC SOLUTION OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $100. FOR FREE OFFERINGS, INCLUDING THE WEBSITE AND THE ORG HEALTH CHECK, ADDONBLUE’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED US $100.
13.3 Exceptions. The limits in this Section 13 limit Addonblue’s liability only. They do not limit your obligation to pay fees or your indemnification obligations under Section 14.1, and they do not apply to any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (such as liability for fraud). For the Services, any limitation of liability in a signed Services Agreement applies instead of this Section 13.
13.4 Basis of the bargain. These limits reflect a fair allocation of risk and are an essential basis of these Terms, including the free availability of the Org Health Check. They apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
14. Indemnification
14.1 By you. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Addonblue and its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any third-party claims, and related damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), arising from (a) your use of the Website, the Org Health Check or the Solutions, (b) your Customer Data, (c) your connection of a Salesforce org you were not authorized to connect, or (d) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
14.2 By Addonblue (paid Solutions). Addonblue will defend you against any third-party claim alleging that a paid Solution, as provided by Addonblue and used in accordance with these Terms, infringes that third party’s United States patent, copyright or trademark, or misappropriates its trade secret, and will pay damages finally awarded or agreed in settlement of that claim. If a Solution becomes, or in our opinion is likely to become, the subject of such a claim, we may (a) obtain the right for you to keep using it, (b) modify or replace it so it is non-infringing with materially similar functionality, or (c) if neither is commercially reasonable, end your license and refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your subscription term. We have no obligation for claims arising from (i) free Solutions, the Website or the Org Health Check, (ii) modifications not made by Addonblue, (iii) combination with products, data or processes not provided by Addonblue, including the Salesforce Platform itself, (iv) your Customer Data, or (v) use after we notified you to stop or provided a non-infringing update. Addonblue’s obligations under this Section 14.2 are subject to the cap in Section 13.2. This Section 14.2 states your exclusive remedy for intellectual property infringement claims.
14.3 Procedure. The party seeking indemnification must promptly notify the other party in writing of the claim, give the indemnifying party sole control of the defense and settlement (provided that no settlement may impose obligations on the indemnified party without its consent, which may not be unreasonably withheld), and provide reasonable cooperation at the indemnifying party’s expense.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section 15.
15.2 Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration or any court proceeding, the party raising a dispute must send the other a written notice describing the dispute and the relief sought (to Addonblue, using the contact details in Section 18). The parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after the notice is received.
15.3 Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved within that 30-day period, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services or the Solutions will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator and seated in Charlotte, North Carolina, and may be held by video conference where the arbitrator allows. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
15.4 Fees and costs. AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be paid as provided in the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules. Each party will bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs, unless the arbitrator awards fees and costs to a party where applicable law or the AAA rules permit.
15.5 CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER. YOU AND ADDONBLUE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON. YOU AND ADDONBLUE EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
15.6 Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies and stays there, and (b) seek temporary, preliminary or permanent injunctive or other equitable relief in court to stop actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation or misuse of its intellectual property or confidential information, without first following Section 15.2.
15.7 Courts. For any matter permitted to proceed in court, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
15.8 Services Agreements. If a signed Services Agreement contains its own dispute resolution terms, those terms govern disputes about the Services.
16. General Terms
16.1 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform (other than payment obligations) caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government action, internet or utility failures, or outages of the Salesforce Platform or other third-party services.
16.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. Addonblue may assign these Terms, without your consent, to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or substantially all of its assets or the relevant business. Any attempted assignment in breach of this Section is void. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
16.3 Notices. We may give you notices by email to the address you provided, through the AppExchange or the Solution, or by posting on the Website. Legal notices to Addonblue must be sent in writing to the mailing address in Section 18, with a copy by email to the legal contact listed there. Notices are effective when received (or, for email, when sent, unless a delivery failure notice is received).
16.4 No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing any part of these Terms is not a waiver of that or any other right.
16.5 Independent contractors. The parties are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise or employment relationship.
16.6 Survival. Any provision that by its nature should survive termination or expiration will survive, including Sections 5.3, 7.2 (for accrued fees), 9.3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
16.7 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, any product-specific terms and any signed Services Agreement or DPA, are the entire agreement between you and Addonblue on their subject matter and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. Any terms in your purchase order or similar document do not apply.
16.8 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. If the class action waiver in Section 15.5 is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will proceed in court and not in arbitration.
16.9 Export and sanctions. You will comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws in your use of the Solutions and Services.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated Terms are posted on the Website, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, for example by a notice on the Website, in the Solution or by email to paid customers. Changes do not apply to disputes that arose before the change was posted. Continuing to use the Website, the Org Health Check, the Services or the Solutions after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Contact Information
For questions about these Terms, or for support:
- Support and contact form: contact support for help with a Solution, or our contact form for anything else
